The illegal practice of selling counterfeit goods or “knock offs”, in other words fake versions of genuine products is a commonly recognized problem all over the world. The unauthorized sale and trading of “grey market” products is a much less obvious problem and far more difficult to track and accuse.

Grey market products are genuine and branded goods, that have been imported into a country without authorization and often through illegal channels.
